Esselstyn, Jr.’s website is full of resources, notably his groundbreaking program Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease based on his “20-year study proving changes in diet and nutrition can actually cure heart disease.” Dr. Esselstyn advocates a plant-based, oil-free diet to prevent and stop the progression of heart disease. There is also a Cookbook and DVD.

Neal Barnard, M.D. of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, one of the nation’s leading plant-based advocates, is leading a revolution in medicine.  He started PCRM and has a great website for physicians and patients alike with resources on getting started, articles on health topics, a 21-Day Vegan Kickstart, recipes, podcast, blog, and latest medical news and tips for switching to a plant based diet. Author of several books including Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes and The Cheese Trap. Refer your doctor to this website.

On Z Living Network and is author of Vegiterranean Diet and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition. Her list of resources with links to various websites, books and cookbooks is very helpful.

Each issue showcases helpful tips, practical advice, inspiring success stories, and is loaded with great recipes picturing beautiful and delicious looking food.  These are also usually available in Whole Foods Markets.  

 

In addition, a free digital-based resource from Forks Over Knives offers free recipes, expert advice, and the latest plant-based news. Scroll down to the middle of the page and enter your name and email address.  Also check out their app.
